Dear family of Harvey, I’m so sorry to hear of his passing. Please accept my condolences. We served together at Suffolk County AFB 1966. Harvey and I were good friends and spent many hours commiserating about how we looked forward to getting back to civilian life. We both discharged on the same day. We rented a car together for the drive home. We said our good byes at his home in Berlin and I drove home to Boston. I’m sorry we never met up again. He was a great guy and truly good person. I’m sure you all miss him every day. I wanted to share a bit of that memory with you. Sincerely, Ted Kobel.
