It is with great sadness and a heavy heart that I remember the remarkable life of my dad (Ramon), who embodied love, kindness, and generosity in his selfless actions. His witty humor and profound wisdom greatly brightened each one of my days. As the best dad & grandpa anyone could wish for, he leaves behind a treasure trove of cherished memories that will live on in our hearts forever.
Dad- Thank you for always pushing me to do better, follow my dreams and be all that I can. You helped shaped my life in so many positive ways and for that I am forever grateful. You are loved beyond words and missed beyond measure.
With all my love,
Cristina

Stacy, Smidge and I would like to extend our sincere condolences to Ramon’s family. Unfortunately we will not be able to attend the services but you will be in our thoughts. I met Ramon in the 60’s when I joined a hot rod club a couple of houses from his home on Cherry Street in New Britain. He has been a great friend ever since. I have had him do a lot of work for me and I learned that there was no “good enough” in his vocabulary. He was a true craftsman and perfectionist in what ever he did. His talent, personality and smile will forever be missed by all that we’re lucky enough to have known him. Rest In Peace my friend!!
Ray and Smidge Theriault and Stacy Taber.

Ramon's contagious laughter and vibrant energy always brightened up any room he entered. I'll never forget the hilarious race to Cristina's house on Austin Street – it was impossible not to feel his love for life, as well as his sheer adoration for Cristina, Julez, and Ramon during that memorable sprint! Amidst heavy hearts, let us celebrate this truly extraordinary man and cherish the precious memories he leaves behind.

Ramon was the type of guy that, every time you were around him it was memorable. He was a man full of life and energy who always had a way of making you laugh and forget about the things bothering you. There were many Friday nights that I would head to New Britain to hang out with Ramon Jr. and end up staying over their place. I'd wake up in the morning and Ramon Sr. would be coming in from the garden with a handful of fresh tomatoes. "Hey guy. You want some breakfast?", he'd ask. Of course he would just start frying up some eggs before I could respond. Then he'd slice up those fresh tomatoes and season them up...serve them up with some fried eggs and some fresh bread from Roli Poli bakery. (Then he was out the door....buzzin' around visiting family and friends or looking at some jobs.) He just had this way about him that made you feel at home...welcomed. I will really miss Ramon and all the great laughs we shared together....but I know he lives on through his children and all those whose lives he touched. May your soul be at peace with the LORD.
