Obituary of Bradford S. Geyer
Please share a memory of Bradford to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Bradford Scott “Brad” Geyer, 56, of New Britain, CT, a proud, caring, industrious, and deeply funny man beloved by many, and in the presence of those most profoundly moved by his enormous soul, took a new form of cosmic starstuff on March 13, 2021.
Brad’s legacy continues through his wife and partner in crime Vanessa (Nadolny) Geyer and two children, Tayler Nadolny-Sipes and Autumn Elizabeth Geyer both of whom were his pride and joy. Brad is survived by his parents George Geyer of Southington and Patricia Tremblay of Avon, stepparents Georgia Geyer and Louis Tremblay, brother Gregory Geyer and wife Cindy of Dalton, MA and his daughter in law, Rachel Nadolny-Sipes. His sister, Diane Geyer, predeceased him.
He was happiest when surrounded by family and friends, including numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, in-laws, out-laws, and adoring pets. Brad was a committed husband, father, and family man. He and his wife worked tirelessly to create an inviting household known for welcoming vibes, frequent gatherings, parties, and traditions. He was easy to confide in, eager to listen, and eager to help. An avid improver and renovator, Brad relished the opportunity to both create and deconstruct. He loved the detail of model kits, engine repair, all manner of home projects, and embodied the DIY spirit. Brad sought to understand himself and his place in the grand scheme by communing with the natural world whenever possible. Kayaking, fishing, camping, and golfing were among his most cherished forms of solace and relaxation.
He loved science fiction, astronomy, technology, and making people laugh. Brad was a creative singer, impressionist, improvisational lyricist, lover of oddball humor, collector and videographer of family memories, a master of power tools, a fearless seeker of adventure, a kind, sweet, inquisitive, reflective, selfless, and unique man who will be long remembered and long loved.
The force was strong with this one.
