Obituary of Christine Pappalardo

Christine M. Pappalardo, 35, of New Britain, beloved daughter of Anthony and Mary Paulette (Miano) Pappalardo, died Wednesday at Hospital For Special Care in New Britain. Born in Hartford, she lived all her life in New Britain, attending local schools. She was employed at the Constructive Workshop working with the Meals on Wheels Group. An avid New York Yankee fan, she also enjoyed the New York Jets and Wrestling, and bowled with CCARC. In addition to her parents, Christine is survived by her sisters Mary Lauren Pappalardo of New Britain, Andrea and her husband John Rossi; two nieces Alyssa Pappalardo and her god child Olivia Rossi; her grandfather Paul M. Miano of Wethersfield; a great aunt Carmela Tralongo of New Britain; three uncles Carmen Pappalardo of Newington, Sebastian and his wife Margaret Pappalardo of Farmington, Michael P. and Pamela Miano of Duxbury, MA; an aunt Carla and her husband Don Unwin of Rocky Hill and several cousins. She is predeceased by her grandparents Lucia Miano, Arlene Miano, and Joe and Lena Pappalardo. Funeral services will be held Monday 10:00 A.M from the Farrell Funeral Home 110 Franklin Sq. New Britain, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 A.M. at St. Ann's Church New Britain. Burial will follow in Mt. St. Benedict Cemetery, Bloomfield. Visitation will be Sunday from 4:00 to 7:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
