Obituary of Gerard J. Lambert

Gerard J. Lambert, 95, formerly of New Britain, died Tuesday Night at home. Born in St. Agatha, de Lotbiniere, Canada, he lived most of his life in New Britain, moving to Bristol four years ago. He was the widower of Fernande Marie (Berube) Lambert, who died June 9, 2004. He was employed for many years at the Fafnir Bearing Co. retiring in 1981. He was also a member of St. Peter Church, the St. Jean the Baptist Society and the Textron Retirees.
Mr. Lambert is survived by his daughter Suzanne and her husband Christopher Holden of Bristol, two sons Dennis and his wife Tricia Lambert of Weyers Cove, Virginia, and Norman and his wife Gerri Lambert of Waterbury; five step grandchildren Richard, Patrick and Tim Kelly, Ashlyn Burkholder and Gavin Burkholder, granddaughter Natalie Lambert; four step great grandchildren Katie Kelly, Sean Kelly, Aidan Kelly and Kiera Kelly and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Saturday 8:30 A.M. from the Farrell Funeral Home 110 Franklin Sq. New Britain with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 A.M. at St. Peter Church, New Britain Burial will follow in St. Mary Cemetery, New Britain. Visitation will be Friday from 4:00 to 7:00 P.M. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Bristol Hospital Home Care Agency P.O. Box 977 Bristol, CT 06011-0977.
