OBITUARIES
Deborah A. Zisk, 59, longtime resident of Higganum, CT, passed on
Thursday, Sept. 24,th with her family by her side. Deborah was a gifted
Graphic artist and the proprietor of "The Wollie Bullies and Company"
Yarn Shop in Middletown and Higganum. Deborah specialized in the
design of outer ware for women and men. Her artistic line of clothing was
inspired from multicultural impressions and have been featured
throughout Connecticut and the country in the Website "Heartfelt
Designs'.
Deborah inspired many customers and friends alike through her group and
individual knitting classes and instruction. Her clientele, students and
friends throughout the community continue her art form and creations.
Daughter of the late Atty. John V. Zisk, Deborah is survived by her
loving mother Lillian Dizza-Zisk of Westbrook, her sister Rosalind,
brothers John and his wife Catherine of Tarpon Springs, FL, and Foster
and his wife Jennifer along with their children Katherine, Nicholus, Abagail,
Jacquelyn, and Caroline of Stasburg, VA.
Funeral services will be held today (Saturday) with a Mass of Christian
Burial at 11:30 A.M at St. Francis of Assisi Church,1755 Stanley St.
New Britain. Burial will follow in St. Mary Cemetery, New Britain.
Visitation will be today from 10:00 A.M. until the time of the Mass at
the Farrell Funeral 110 Franklin Sq. New Britain. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Susan G. Komen Breast Foundation 350 Church St.
Hartford, CT.
