Agnes (White) Reed, 97, formerly of New Britain, died Wednesday Night at an area convalescent home. Born in New Britain, the daughter of the late Elzye and Delia (Gagnon) White, she was a life long resident and member of St. Mary Church.
She was the widow of the late Joseph C. Reed, who died Feb 12, 1999, and with whom she would have celebrated her 70th wedding anniversary on Wednesday.
Mrs. Reed is survived by her son Edward Reed of New Britain and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday with a Memorial Mass at 10:00 A.M. at St. Mary Church. Burial will follow in St. Mary Cemetery. There are no calling hours. The Farrell Funeral Home, New Britain is in charge of arrangements.
