Obituary of Edward L. Zotter

OBITUARIES Edward L. Zotter, 74, of New Britain, died Saturday Night at an area convalescent home. Born in New Britain and a life long resident, he was the son of the late Frank and Olga ( Kushmider) Zotter. He graduated from New Britain High School in 1952 and served his country in the U.S. Army, where he was a helicopter mechanic. Along with his father and uncle, he worked at the City Awning and Tent Co. for over 60 years. He was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church and the F.I.A.C. Ed is survived by his cousins Robert Zotter of New Britain, Raymond Kushmider of Lakeland, FL, Norman Kusmider of Cleveland, OH, and several close friends. He was predeceased by his sister Frances Zotter. Funeral services will be held Wednesday 10:30 A.M. at the Farrell Funeral Home 110 Franklin Sq. New Britain. Burial will follow with military honors in Fairview Cemetery, New Britain. Visitation will be today (Tuesday) from 5:30 to 7:30 P.M. at the funeral home.
