Obituary of Harry Misteri

Harry Misteri, 89, of Berlin, died Saturday (Oct. 8, 2016) at the Hospital of Central CT in New Britain. Born in Berlin, the son of the late Paul and Edith (Carmella) Misteri, he was a lifelong resident of Berlin and Old Lyme. Harry was a well known businessman having owned the Wallabout Tire Company in Berlin for over 40 years. Mr. Misteri is survived by his wife Aniela (Gacek) Misteri; a son Harry Paul Misteri of Wethersfield, two daughters Lynn Misteri of Berlin and Cynthia and her husband Frank Magisano of Berlin; a grandson Geoffrey Magisano and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Thursday (Oct. 13, 2016) 9:00 AM from the Farrell Funeral Home 110 Franklin Sq. New Britain, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM at St. Paul's Church, Kensington. Burial will follow in Maple Cemetery, Berlin. Visitation will be Wednesday from 5:00 to 8:00 PM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice at the Hospital of Central CT 100 Grand St. New Britain, CT 06050.
