Obituary of Linda L. Arute

OBITUARIES Linda L. Arute, 65, of Berlin, died Monday Morning at Avon Health Care. Born in New Britain, the daughter of Marie (Johnson) Arute and the late Charles Arute, she lived in Berlin and graduated from Berlin High School. She lived in New Britain many years and attended Central Connecticut State University and worked in various travel agencies before become general manager of Travelrama in Hartford. While working with the travel agencies, she was a fund raiser with the Jimmy Fund. She lived in Florida and returned to this area in the late 1990's. In addition to her mother, Linda is survived by two brothers Jeffrey and his wife Marie Arute of Berlin and Gregory and his wife Christine Arute of Westwood, MA, and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be private with burial in St. Mary Cemetery, New Britain. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Avon Health Care, Patient Services, 652 West Avon Road, Avon, CT 06001. The Farrell Funeral Home, New Britain, is in charge of arrangements.
