I wish to pass on my deepest sympathy to the family of Bill McCabe.. I first met Bill while working at Stanley Golf Course and at Willow Brook Park when I worked for the city of New Britain.I will always remember his wonderful smile. He was always a delight to be around. While I was only a park maintainer he treated me with great respect, and was always happy to see me. I got to see Bill again after an absence when I took a job with the town of Manchester.. He serviced that account. I was great to see him again and it was like we had never parted.. Again I was just a maintainer and not in an administrative position but that made no difference..It was always great to see him and i was always greeted with that great smile and a hearty hello. He was a wonderful man.. You have my deepest sympathy.. Always Regina "reggie" Ginotti

Our thoughts and prayers are with Sheila, Patrick, their families, and Tom's family. We were looking forward to seeing Ireland with Bill; he always made an event extra fun and special. He leaves behind a wonderful, large family, who I'm sure brought him much happiness and pride, and will continue to do so. Admirably, Bill, to me, was always such a great presence, well respected, yet remaining humble and kind. He truly will be missed.

I met Bill 4 years ago when I started at the town of Enfield Building and Grounds and from the first meeting, you could tell Bill was an outstanding person. Bill was very talkative about his company and was always asking how I was doing. Bill will be missed and I will say a prayer for him and his family.

My deepest sympathies. As Athletic Director at Killingly High School & Parish Hill High School, I got to know Bill as the sales rep for Pioneer. He was always so friendly, always had a smile, and always made sure you were satisfied with the Pioneer products you bought. He was truly dedicated to the Pioneer company. He surely will be missed but we all have the many memories that will give all us strength to get through these difficult times. May he rest in peace.

Bill and family, So blessed to have known Bill and had many laughs with him. We are so thankful for the many games he cheered on our girls and busted me for my soft spoken voice. We will miss seeing him drive by and stop for a chat or join a party and have a beer. Our fondest memory is witnessing him and my Mom dancing (doing the bump and the twist) at Matts wedding - the 90 and early 80 year old surrounded by the youngsters smiling and reminding us to enjoy life to the fullest and you are never too young to have fun. We love you Bill and have all of you in our prayers . Donna, Bart, Courtney and Kaitlyn Bovee

My condolences to the McCabe clan. "Billy" was a super guy. It was my pleasure to know and work with him as a City Alderman, promoter of parks and recreation, golfer and friend of my father-in-law "Tippy" Scheyd. Not surprised he was still working at 91. I'll bet he was still playing golf, too. So sorry to hear of his passing. May he rest in peace.

I am very sorry for the loss of your Father. Many wonder why we have to die? Rom 5:12, what is the condition of the dead? Ecc 9:5, what hope is there? Jo 5:28,29. Soon God will wipe away all tears and death and pain will be no more. Rev 21:3,4. May you find comfort in these promises and in the memories you cherish.
