Obituary of Leonard A. Hould

Leonard A. Hould, 76, of New Britain, died Monday (April 24, 2016) at the Hospital of Central CT in New Britain. Born in Auburn, ME, the son of the late Arthur and Irene (Caron) Hould. He lived in New Britain for 50 years and was the husband of Roberta (Kimball) Hould. He was employed for 36 years at Stanley Works, retiring 15 years ago. Leonard enjoyed motorcycle riding and spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren. In addition to his wife, Roberta, Leonard is survived by four daughters, Mary Venise Fusco, Victoria and her husband, Alfred Messenger, Sandra and her husband Arthur Bartley and Diane and her husband, Raymond DiPinto all of New Britain; 13 grandchildren, Gary, Jonathan, Shawn, Johnny, Danielle, Jason, Ryan, Tessa, A.J., Venise, Stephanie, Joey and Taylor; 13 great grandchildren Alexis, Tatiana, Michael, Chase, Anthony, Leane, Madison, Analise, Ian, Elliot, Lennox, Nathan, and Jaxon; his siblings, Lucille Bourget, Doris Hould, Paul Hould and his wife, Jeannette and Arthur Hould, Jr. and his wife, Pat; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a granddaughter, Nina, two great grandsons, Damien and Alexander, Jr. and a sister, Mary Venise Hould. Funeral services will be held Friday Apr. 29, 2016 with a Mass of Christian burial at 11:00 AM at St. Joseph's Church 195 So. Main St. New Britain. Burial will follow in St. Mary Cemetery, New Britain. Visitation will be Friday from 8:30AM to 10:30 AM at the Farrell Funeral Home 110 Franklin Sq. New Britain.
