Jane M. (Lipinski) Hooper, 92, of New Britain died Monday October 13, 2008 at an area convalescent home. She was the widow of Frank E. Hooper, Sr. Born in Bloomfield, April 1, 1916, she was the daughter of the late William and Josephine Lipinski. Mrs. Hooper was a very active parishioner of St. Joseph's Church in New Britain, where she served on the Rosary Guild, the Daughter's of Isabella Society and in the choir. She is survived by her son Frank E. Hooper, Jr. and his wife Patricia of Simsbury, a granddaughter Audrey Lesieur and her husband James of Farmington and a sister, Rosalie Cowles of West Hartford.
Funeral services will be held on Friday at 10:00 AM at the Farrell Funeral Home, 110 Franklin Sq., New Britain with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 AM at St. Joseph Church, New Britain. Burial will follow in St. Mary Cemetery, New Britain. Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday morning from 9:00 - 10:00 AM.
