Obituary of Alice Daly

Alice (Lynch) Daly, 87, of Newington, died Tuesday (Dec.8, 2015) surroundrd by her loving family,at an area convalescent home. Born in New Britain, the daughter of the late Timothy and Nora (Farrell) Lynch, she lived in Newington for many years. She had been employed for thirty years at The Aetna. She was the wife of the late Robert Daly and a member of St. Mary Church, Newington. Mrs. Daly is survived by her children Nancy P. Ritone and her husband Vincent of Berlin, Mary T. Botticello and her husband Anthony of Ft. Lauderdale, FL; Joseph R. Daly of Lakewood, CA; and Patricia Daly of Hartford; her grandchildren Scott Kelly, Shannon Ritone, Daryl Ritone and his wife Jaime, Briona Ritone and Nocole Millerand her husband Timothy; her great grandchildren Kendall Miller and Austin Miller .In addition to her loving family, she is survived by a circle of close friends, that meant the world to her. In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by a granddaughter Crystal Daly, two brothers Joseph Lynch and Francis Lynch, and two sisters, Mary Ellen Lynch and Margie Lynch. A memorial mass will be held Friday (Dec. 11, 2015) at 10:00AM at St. Mary Church 626 Willard Ave Newington. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Mary Church in Newington.
