Evelyn (Stavnitsky) Julian, 92, of New Britain, died Friday (Oct. 30, 2015) at the Hospital of Central CT in New Britain. Born in New Britain, the daughter of the late John and Anna (Glatz) Stavnitsky, she was a lifelong resident. She was the widow of Max Julian, a former sergeant with the New Britain Police Department. For many years, she was employed at the Connecticut Light and Power Co. (now Eversource) and was a member of St. Matthews Lutheran Church.
Evelyn is survived by a brother George Stavnitsky of New Britain; a sister, Florence Decker of Meriden and several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held Monday (Nov.2, 2015) at 10:30 AM at St. Mary Cemetery 1141 Stanley St. New Britain.
