Ruth (Barry) Lynch, 88, of New Britain, died Wednesday at the Jerome Home. Born August 16, 1920 in New Britain to Joseph and Caroline (English) Barry. She was the wife of the late James J. Lynch, who died Oct. 2, 1990. She lived most of her life in Connecticut, with time spent in Maine and Texas. She was a devoted wife and mother.
Ruth is survived by her daughter Christine Banks, sons James Lynch and Patrick Lynch and grandchildren James Lynch and Chase Lynch.
Funeral services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
Ruth's family would like to express their gratitude to the staff at the Jerome Home where she lived her final years. They would also like any donations in Ruth's memory to be made to Jerome Home 975 Corbin Ave New Britain,
