Ellen F. (Hinchcliffe) Braham, 75, of New Britain, died Friday (May 1, 2015) at the Hospital of Central CT in New Britain. Born in New Britain, the daughter of the late Raymond and Lillian (Kerwin) Hinchcliffe, she was a lifelong resident. She was the wife of the late Patrick Braham. She was a U.S. Navy Veteran, a member of the TGM Northwestern Veteran's Club, a well known avid Boston Red Sox's fan and a long time Bingo player at St. Joseph's Church. During her career, she worked at Fafnir Bearing, Omni Home and Health Care and Interim Home and Health Care. Mrs. Braham is survived by her children Lee and her husband James Chiodo of Berlin; Patrick and his wife Jan Braham of Whittier, CA; Maureen and her husband Sonny Frazier of Southington; and Jennifer and her husband Phillip Smith of New Britain; six grandchildren Nicholas, Stacey and Allyson Frazier; James and Kevin Chiodo; and Alexis Smith; two great grandchildren Maximilian and Caroline Quijano; her canine companions, Tyson and Bella; two sisters Alice Hinchcliffe and Donna Carlson both of East Haddam and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral services will be held Saturday (May 9, 2015) at 12:00 noon at the Farrell Funeral Home 110 Franklin Sq. New Britain. Burial will be private. Visitation will be Saturday from 10:00 to 12:00 at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Bingo Fund c/o St. Joseph's Church 195 So. Main St. New Britain, CT 06051.
