Obituary of Wanda K. Strzeszkowski

Wanda (Kunicki) Strzeszkowski, 81, of New Britain, died Sunday (March 29, 2015) at an area convalescent home. Born in Pittsburgh PA, she lived most of her life in New Britain, and was the wife of the late Mieczyslaw Strzeszkowski, who died June 24, 1914. She worked at Stanley Works for many years, and she was a member of St. John the Evangelist Church.
Mrs. Strzeszkowski is survived by three sons Matthew and his wife Deb Strzeszkowski of Indiana, Christopher Strzeszkowski of Uncasville and Mark and his wife Maniso Strzeszkowski of Bristol; a daughter-in-law Sandra Strzeszkowski of Edgar, Wis; a daughter-in-law Suzanne Strzeszkowski of Gales Ferry; ten grandchildren, Joshua, Julia, Sasha, Krista, Sonia and Tasha Strzeszkowski; Jennifer Kelley of East Lyme, Kim Cardoza of New London; VeraLynn Kimphounh, and Virrita Kimphounh; four sisters Stella Kunicki of Torrington, Josephine Banascz of Plainville, Jane Solywada of Torrington and Helen Hybner of Plainville and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Thursday 11:00 AM at the Farrell Funeral Home 110 Franklin Sq. New Britain. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery, New Britain. Visitation will be Thursday from 10:00 to 11:00 AM at the funeral home.
