Dora Mae Bossie, 53, of New Britain, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family Monday, July 7, 2008 at the Hospital of Central Connecticut in New Britain. Born in New Britain, the daughter of the late Ronald and Verna (Saucier) Bossie, she grew up in Bristol, lived in Puerto Rico for 16 years and returned to New Britain 13 years ago. She graduated from Bristol Eastern High School in 1971 and had been an Assistant Manager at McDonalds for many years.
Dora is survived by her children Philip Bossie and his fiancé Brenda Martinez of New Britain, Christine Santana Bossie and her fiancé Jimmy Rosario of Puerto Rico, William Felix Bossie and his wife Waleska of Waterbury, Jesenia Felix and her fiancé Leonardo Arroyo of New Britain, Falin Felix and his fiancé Shirley Torres, Johnny Felix, Yazamin Felix and Dora Liz Felix all of New Britain; her step children Maria Socorra Felix and her husband Miquel of New Britain, Alin Junior Felix and his wife Ivette of Puerto Rico; her brothers Larry and his wife Sandy Bossie of Cromwell, Tom and his wife Valerie Bossie of Middlefield, her sisters Julie and her husband Guy Ingham, Lisa Dixon, and a sister in law Eileen Bossie all of Bristol; 23 grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and numerous friends. She was predeceased by a sister Margaret Bossie, and a brother Maynard Bossie.
Funeral services will be held Friday at 1:00 pm at the Farrell Funeral Home 110 Franklin Sq. New Britain, burial will follow in St Mary Cemetery, New Britain. Visitation will be Friday from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at the funeral home.
