Obituary of Lois Rogers

Lois Ann (Heckman) Rogers, formerly of Kensington, beloved daughter of Mary (Chromy) and
William Heckman, died January 31, 2015 after a brief illness. She was born on December 1,
1937 in New Britain. Lois was a second mother to her sister, and a loyal friend to all who knew
her. Her life was spent helping others asking nothing in return. Her animals were her constant
joys. She loved dancing, hunting and fishing with her late husband Ted. She shall be sorely
missed by all especially her sister, Rita Heckman Pyrdol, her nephew, Jason Pyrdol, and niece,
Rachel Pyrdol. Funeral services will be held Wednesday (Feb. 4, 2015) at 1:00 PM at the Farrell Funeral Home 110 Franklin Sq. New Britain. Burial will follow in Maple Cemetery, Berlin. Visitation will be Wednesday from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
