Obituary of Helene Dunklee

OBITUARIES Helene M. (Blasco) Dunklee, 94, of Simsbury, formerly of New Britain, died Tuesday Night. Born in New Britain, the daughter of the late John and Emma (Zack) Blasco, she lived most of her life in New Britain moving to Simsbury six years ago. She was the widow of Roy Dunklee and was also predeceased by three brothers Emil Blasco, Andrew Blasco and Steven Blasco and two sisters Wilma Blasco and Lillian Frederick. A graduate of Central Connecticut State University, Helene was a teacher in the Bristol School System for thirty Five years and was a member of St. Maurice Church. Helene is survived by five nieces, three nephews and twenty grand nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Tuesday 9:30 A.M. from the Farrell Funeral Home 110 Franklin Sq. New Britain, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 A.M. at St. Maurice Church 100 Wightman Rd New Britain. Burial will follow in St. Mary Cemetery, New Britain. Visitation will be Monday from 4:00 to 7:00 P.M. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105.
