Obituary of Jane Macholtz

Jane Macholtz, 85, of New Britain, died Thursday at home. Born in New Britain, the daughter of the late Frederick and Bridget (Murphy) Macholtz, she lived in New Britain all of her life. She graduated from St. Mary's School, New Britain High School and was employed for many years at the Fafnir Bearing Co. retiring in the mid 1970's. She was very active with the School House II community and was a member of St. Joseph's Church. Jane is survived by two nephews Patrick and his wife Susan Buden of Plainville, William and his wife Jane Buden of Southington, a niece Carolyn Buden of Plainville, a great niece Holly Buden of Plainville, three great nephews Nicholas Buden, Patrick Buden, Jr., and Paul Buden. She was predeceased by a sister Rita F. Buden. Funeral services will be held Monday with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 A.M. at St. Joseph's Church. Burial will follow in St. Mary Cemetery, New Britain. Visitation will be Monday morning from 9:00 A.M. until the time of the Mass at the Farrell Funeral Home 110 Franklin Sq. New Britain.
