Obituary of Genevieve Moore

Genevieve "Jen" F. Moore, 81, of Black Point Beach, Niantic, died Monday Morning at home. Born in New Britain, the daughter of the late James and Antoinette (Manno) Ferrara, she was raised in New Britain and moved to Black Point in 1975. She was a real estate agent with the Black Point Real Estate Co for many years and was very active in the Black Point Beach Association while living there. Jen is survived by her husband of 61 years Donald Moore; her daughter Gina and her husband Douglas McQuilken of Niantic; her son Martin Moore of Leverett, MA; four grandchildren Jennifer Heisler, Sean McQuilken, Sarah Moore and Elyza Moore; her brother Joseph Ferrara of Florida and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Friday with a Mass of Christian Burial at 1:00 P.M. at St. Maurice Church 100 Wightman Road New Britain. Burial will follow in St. Mary Cemetery, New Britain. Visitation will be Friday from 11:30 A.M. until 12:30 P.M. at the Farrell Funeral Home 110 Franklin Sq. New Britain.
