OBITUARIES
Mary Theresa (Boscarino) Aparo, 87, of Newington, was guided back to her Lord by her guardian angel on Monday, July 30, 2007. She was the daughter of the late Paul and Michela (Amenta) Boscarino. She was born in San Paolo, Italy on December 28th 1919 and immigrated to the United States at the age of one. She was married for 59 nine years to Salvatore Aparo who predeceased her in November 1996. She lived her entire life in New Britain until she went to live with her devoted daughter, Lucille (Lou) Aparo Blanchette and her loving son in law Francis (Tony) for the past ten years. She was a member of the Fratalonza Club, the Italian Fraternal Club and Saint Church.
Mary is survived by her daughter Lou Blanchette and son in law Tony of Newington, two sons Paul Aparo and his wife Linda, Francis Aparo and his wife Shirley all of Bristol, a devoted sister Rose Crescentini of Plainville, and her brother Sebastian Boscarino and his wife Lee of Milford. She was predeceased buy her brother Paul Boscarino of Texas. She also leaves six grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. Two of her grandchildren, Marie Ramsey and her husband Chuck of Niantic and Cindy Lumbra and her husband Jeff of Bristol were very close to her, and two of her great grandchildren, Sabrina and Brandon Lumbra of Bristol, spent many happy days with Mary and were also very special to her. She also leaves a granddaughter Cheryl Jankowski and a great granddaughter Nicole Giese and Cheryl's fiancé' Scott of Van Buren, ME. She also leaves several nieces and nephews. She will be dearly missed by them and all whose life's she touched.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday 8:30 A.M. from the Farrell Funeral Home 110 Franklin Sq. New Britain with a Mass of Christian Burial at
9:30 A.M. at St. Ann's Church North St. New Britain. Entombment will follow in St. Mary Cemetery Garden Mausoleum, New Britain. Visitation will be Tuesday 6:00 to 8:00 P.M.
