Dear Peg, I was saddened to learn of Andy's passing. "Uncle Andy" remains a solid part of my childhood and early adulthood and you and he, a part of my extended family. You were always there at the family gatherings, holidays, special events. So many memories. I liken dad and Andy to the CT 'rat pack'. They just seemed bigger than life. I know dad loved and admired Andy and thought of him as a brother. Andy was quick with a smile and a hug and took the time to listen. That is no small thing to a child and something I have never forgotten. Peg, you and Andy demonstrated what is means to be generous and caring. The vacations at the Cape are some of my fondest memories. I am sorry I cannot be there for the services, but know I am with you, Patty, and Susan, and the family in spirit.
