Obituary of Pedro Serrano

OBITUARIES Pedro Serrano, 87, of New Britain, died Sunday at an area convalescent home. Born in Manati, Puerto Rico, the son of the late Cirilo and Trinidad Serrano, he lived many years in Waterbury and moved to New Britain over a year ago. He was an ordained minister and was Pastor of a church in Morovis, Puerto Rico. Among his survivors are his wife Antonia (Feliciano) Serrano; four children Mateo Serrano of New Britain, Aida Perez of Waterbury, Romana Garcia and Maria Bonilla both of New Britain, nine brothers and sisters Eugenio, Efrain, Longino, Antonio and Francisco all of New York, Juan Ramon of Puerto Rico, Romona, and Carmen both of New York and Elsa of Chicago; 19 grandchildren, 40 great grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Wednesday from 7:00 to 9:00 P.M. at the Farrell Funeral Home 110 Franklin Sq. New Britain. Burial will be Thursday Morning with a procession leaving the funeral home at 11:30 A.M. for the Fairview cemetery.
