OBITUARIES Barrows, Florence (Rivers), 91 widow of Robert J. Barrows of New Britain died Thursday August 17, 2006. Born in New Britain, she was a lifelong resident. Daughter of the late George and Flavia (Brennison) Rivers. Prior to her retirement, she had been employed by both S.S. Kresge and D & L. She is survived by her children, David & Judy Barrows, Robert Barrows, Florence and Mark Cegielski, all of New Britain. One daughter-in-law Diane Crothers of Washington, D.C. and a sister Theresa Rivers. 10 grandchildren, David Barrows Jr., Deborah Plumb, Robert Barrows, Bridget Cooper, Sarah Hayden, India Barrows, Amy Collin, Carl, Matthew, and Daniel Cegielski. 14 grandchildren. She was predeceased by a daughter Elizabeth J. Barrows and a son, Donald A. Barrows. Funeral Service will be held Saturday August 19, 2006 at 11:30A.M. from the Farrell Funeral Home, 110 Franklin Sq. New Britain. Burial will follow at St. Mary�s Cemetery, New Britain.
