Obituary of Marie Anne Brochu

Marie Anne (Langlois) Brochu, 95, of New Britain, died Monday Morning at an area convalescent home. Born in Quebec, Canada, the daughter of the late Adelard and Leontine (Roy) Langlois, she came to Connecticut at the age of twenty one. She was a member of the Ladies Guild of St. Ann and the New Britain Senior Center.
Mrs. Brochu, a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, is survived by two daughters Pauline Buinickas and Irene and her husband John Stepinsky all of New Britain; two sons Norman and his wife Joanne Brochu of New Britain and Richard and his wife Christine Brochu of Berlin; Memere has fourteen grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren; two sisters Simone Michaud and Rita Rinquet of both of Quebec Canada and known by her several nieces and nephews as Ma-Tante Finete. She was predeceased by her devoted husband of 55 years, Adelard Brochu.
Funeral services will be held Saturday 9:00 A.M. from the Farrell Funeral Home 110 Franklin Sq. New Britain with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 A.M. at St. Peter�s Church 98 Franklin Sq.. New Britain. Entombment will follow in St. Mary Cemetery Garden Mausoleum. Visitation will be Friday from 5:00 to 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
