LANGLER: Shirley Grace (Fayette) Langler, 91, wife of Kenneth R. Langler of West Hartford, died peacefully Sunday, May 21st, 2006 at Brittany Farms. Born in Hartford, daughter of the late Harry G. and Henrietta Queen Fayette, she lived in West Hartford most of her life, spending summers in Westbrook. She was a graduate of William H. Hall High School and Connecticut College. As a 70 year member of the First Church of Christ, Congregational in West Hartford, she was very active having served as President of the Ladies Guild, a Circle Leader for many years, a past Deacon of the church, and as coordinator of the Reception Committee. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star and was involved in the Rainbow Girls with her daughters. Besides her beloved husband of 65 years, she is survived by her three children and their spouses, Virginia and Paul Andrews of West Hartford, Barbara and Christopher O�Brien of Portland, Donald and Ellen Langler of Brookfield, Wisc., her sister-in-law, Elsie L. Hodges of West Hartford, her 9 grandchildren, Matthew Andrews and his wife Cynthia, Stephen Andrews and his wife Ann Marie, Kimberly Fleury and her husband Bryce, Alicia Andrews, Jennifer and Kevin O�Brien, Erin, Todd and Emily Langler, and 4 great-grandchildren Kenneth, Grace, Timothy Andrews and Tyler Fleury. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, May 30th, 11:00 A.M. in the First Church of Christ Congregational, 12 South Main Street, West Hartford. Burial in Fairview Cemetery, West Hartford will follow a reception to be held immediately following the services. There are no calling hours. Memorial contributions in her memory may be made to the First Church. Arrangements are being handled by Paul B. Andrews through the Farrell Funeral Home.
