OBITUARIES Raymond William Miller of New Britain, died Monday at New Britain General Hospital. Born in New Britain March 13, 1926, he was the son of the late George and Ora (Bleau) Miller and graduated from New Britain High School. He was married Mary Ellen (Patnode) Miller on Oct, 23, 1948 in St. Joseph�s Church New Britain. Raymond was employed as a sales representative for the Keebler Company retiring April 1, 1988. He was a World War II United States Marine Corp. Veteran serving in the Pacific Theatre from Feb. 10, 1944 to May 2, 1946. He was a life member of the Veteran of Foreign Wars Post 3272 in Avon, he was a parishioner of St. Francis of Assisi Church, a past member of the Church�s parish council, was active in church and school activities, he was a manager in the New Britain Little League baseball, he coached Jr. Varsity Basketball at St. Francis of Assisi School and was a volunteer driver for church members. In addition to his wife Mary Ellen, he is survived by his son Keith Raymond Miller and his wife Melinda Miller; his granddaughters Nicole Marie Miller and Danielle Lauren Miller, who were the lights of his life. He is also survived by his sister and brother in law Marilyn and Henry Durant of Plainville, his brother in law Robert LaRock of Simsbury; several nieces, nephews, grand nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his sister Delphine LaRock. Funeral services will be held Friday 9:30 A.M. from the Farrell Funeral Home 110 Franklin Sq. New Britain with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 A.M. at St. Francis of Assisi Church Stanley St. New Britain. Burial will follow in St. Mary Cemetery New Britain. Visitation will be Thursday from 5:00 to 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
