OBITUARIES
Louis J. Prior, Sr., 78, of Kensington, died, early Saturday morning at an area convalescent home. Born in Plainville, he lived many years in Kensington and was employed at Easco for many years. He was the widower of Mildred (Tencza) Prior. A U.S. Navy Veteran of the Korean War Conflict, he was also a member of the Knights of Columbus and the Kensington Volunteer Fire Department.
Mr. Prior leaves two sons James E. Prior and Louis J. Prior of Kensington, two daughters Mary L. Palasiewski of Northford and Mary Ann Miller of West Union, SC; eight granddaughters, one great granddaughter, two great grandsons, one brother Paul Prior of Berlin; two sisters Patricia Guerrette of Southington and Ann Murphy of West Hartford, and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by three brothers Francis, Philip and Eugene Prior and two sisters Joan Ringrose and Rita Prior.
Friends and family are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial Tuesday at 11:30 A.M. at St Paul�s Church Kensington. Burial will follow in St. Joseph�s Cemetery, Plainville. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Kensington Volunteer Fire Department or to St. Paul�s School 479 Alling Street Kensington, CT 06037.
