To Tom's family, There are individuals in this world that, regardless of the depth of acquaintance,leave an indelible mark on your spirit and your soul. Tom was and is such a person. Dear Family of Tom Harlan, I only knew Tom fairly well over the last year and a half. I learned to respect and admire him, for he was a true gentleman. He was always courteous and friendly when we worked together or met casually around the Goodrich facility here in Danbury. Dear Susan: I am so sorry for your loss. Tom was one of the nicest human beings that I have ever known and had the honor to work with. He always took the time to help anyone if asked.His soul is in heaven now and I know he will watch over you. When we talked his eyes would light up at the mention of your name. He was truly a "One in a Million". In today's world that is a rare find. Keep his memory deep inside your heart and I know that the strength you need will come from this. Respectfully, Dawn

I am so very sorry to hear of Tom's passing. I worked closely with Tom for only a short while but I always considered him one of "the good guys" at Goodrich. May God grant you the strength to deal with your sorrowful loss.

We are all terribly sorry to hear of Tom's passing, and will miss him as team member. Although we only knew Tom from his work with us on the ERP team, it was intense and important for the last two years, and he was always a "can-do" member of our team. He was professional and courteous, and we all enjoyed working with him. We are so sorry that all of his very hard work for Goodrich did not afford him now more time to enjoy his boat, which he talked about frequently. He will be missed greatly. Sincerely, Liz Jones
