OBITUARIES
Samuel V. Mangiafico, 87, of Southington, formerly of New Britain, died Wednesday at New Britain General Hospital. Born in New Britain, the son of the late Vincent and Maria (Ciarcia) Magnificent, he was a barber for many years in New Britain, Kensington and Bristol. He was a parishoner of St. Ann�s Church, where he volunteed often and was a World War II U.S. Army Veteran.
Sam is survived by his wife of sixty two years, Yvonne (LeBrun) Mangiafico; two daughters Susan and her husband Eugene Geraci of California, and Sharon Brown of Enfield; five grandchildren Craig and Kristen Geraci and Steven, Brian and Matthew Brown; two great grandchildren Tatum and Vance Geraci; three sisters Pauline Buccheri of Lighthouse Point, FL, Anne Sudano of New Britain and Mary Patneaude of Wethersfield, a brother Joseph Mangiafico of York, Maine and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother Conrad Mangiafico.
Funeral services will be held Monday 9:00 A.M. from the Farrell Funeral Home 110 Franklin Sq. New Britain with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 A.M. at St. Ann�s Church North St. New Britain. Burial will follow in St. Mary Cemetery, New Britain. Visitation will be Sunday from 2:00 to 5:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
