Dear Ann Louise and daughters, I was very shocked and saddened to hear of your loss. Please accept my sincere sympathy to you and your entire family on the passing of your loved one. I have thought of Michael often over the years and have nothing but fond memoeries of the time that we spent together. He had many gifts and talents - his love of music being the foremost but also the ability of making those around him feel important, needed and special. I can remember both in High School and at Central he was known for his kindness and compassion for others. To Mary Schmitt and family I was so sorry and shocked to hear of your brother's passing. I would often think about you and Michael when I was in New Britain. Although I don't know what the reason was for Michael's death I hope that he did not suffer. I am also very sorry that I did not hear of the details of the funeral in a timely fashion as I certainly would have paid my respects at the wake and the funeral service. Please let me know if there is a specific organization that I can send a donation to in Michael's memory. I have nothing but wonderful memories of Michael and your entire family. Again , my sincere sympathy to you and your daughter Desiree. Hopefully you remember me but I was a close friend of Mike's during his Central years. May Michael's memory be eternal!
