Obituary of Maria Rosa Rossitto

Maria Rosa Rossitto, 48, of Berlin died Sunday at her home. Born in Italy, the daughter of Salvatore and Antonia Italia, she lived most of her life in Berlin. She was the beloved wife of Giuseppe Rossitto and beloved mother of Sandro Rossitto. Maria received her Bachelor of Science and Masters Degree in Elementary Eductaion from CCSU. She became a teacher at Naylor Elementary School in Hartford. Mrs. Rossitto is also survived by her sister Tina and Joe Campisi of Berlin, four brothers in law and one sister in law; Natale and Rosa Rossitto, Paolo and Maria Concetta Rossitto, Lina and Vincenzo Campisi, Angela and Salvatore Rossitto, Loredana and Emilio Rossitto; and 16 nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Wednesday 9:00 A.M. from the Farrell Funeral Home 110 Franklin Sq. New Britain with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 A.M. at St. Paul's Church Kensington. Burial will folllow in Maple Cemetery, Berlin. Visiting hours will be Tuesday from 5:00 to 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
