Obituary of Donald L. LeBrun

Donald L. LeBrun, 66, of Newington, died unexpectedly Thursday, September 11,2014, at the Hospital of Central CT in New Britain surrounded by his loving family. Born in New Britain, the son of the late Herve and Vivian (Lind) LeBrun, he lived most of his life in Newington. After serving in the Navy, he began his career in the automotive business with his father at LeBrun-Sichler Ford Dealership in New Britain. He then worked for thirty years with Schaller Auto World. Don was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and family man. He spent many summers at the beach in Rhode Island and hosting numerous parties at his home with his family. He had a love for the Giants and the Yankees, surfcasting with his family, golfing, and vintage cars. Don is survived by his wife and high school sweetheart, Andrea (Hayes) LeBrun, his daughter Nicole Healy and her husband Frank; his son Dameon LeBrun and his fiance' Bethany Sikora; two grandchildren Devlin and Cayden Healy; two sisters Denise Gadomski, and Debbi Michalski and her husband Chris; sister in-law Patricia LeBrun; brother in-law Mark Hayes and his wife Louanne; sister in-law Zoe Ann Carrozzela and her husband Donald; Laurie Hollings and her husband John; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother Gerald LeBrun and brother in-law Franklin Gadomski who were also his best friends. Funeral services will be held Tuesday (Sept.16,2014) 10:30 AM from the Farrell Funeral Home 110 Franklin Sq. New Britain, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30 AM at the Church of the Holy Spirit, Newington. Burial will be private. Visitation will be Monday from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at the funeral home.
