I am new to the church and did not know Gene but through all the wonderful comments people have made about him I feel like I do know him a little. He must have been a wonderful man to have touched so many lives. His life was cut short but he did more in his 49 years than people who live to be 100. He did so much good and had a wonderful heart. I am sad that I did not have a chance to get to know him. What a tribute to a man's life to have so many people who loved him and had wonderful things to say about him. He was taken way to soon but our Heavenly Father must have needed him. May your wonderful memories get you through these difficult days ahead. My thoughts and prayers are with your family.
