OBITUARIES
Frederick B. Williams, 80, of Plainville, died Friday. Born in Essex, he lived most of his life in New Britain and Plainville. He was the widow of Josephine (Zagula) Williams who died De. 16, 2003. He had been employed for several years at the Humason Plant division of Stanley Works and was a World War II Veteran having served in the U.S. Navy and the Merchant Marines. He loved camping, traveling and was a back yard mechanic. He was a friend to everyone who met him.
Fred is survived by his daughter JoAnne and her husband Stan. A. Wojtaszek of New Britain, two sons Frank C. Williams of Plainville, Frederick Williams Jr. of Newington; eight grandchildren Jennifer Grimes, Daniel F. Williams, Marcie A. Williams, Candace Wojtaszek, Kathryn Wojtaszek, Paul Wojtaszek, Zachary Williams, and Zoey Williams; three great grandchildren; one sister Angeline Sanders of Plantsville and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother George Williams.
A memorial service will be held Thursday at 1:00 P.M. at the Farrell Funeral Home 110 Franklin Sq. New Britain Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Heart Association
