Obituary of Diane M. DeLisle

Diane Margery DeLisle, 59, of New Britain, peacefully entered into eternal rest on May 31, 2014 surrounded by loved ones, after a brief illness. Born on June 26, 1954, Diane spent her life loving all living things. Her compassion for animals is marked by her ongoing generous donations to the ASPCA and CT Humane Society. Diane also enjoyed gardening and photography. She will be remembered for years of dedicated customer service at her most recent employer, Battistons. However, Diane's greatest love was her family. Diane is predeceased by her parents, Walter and Margery DeLisle; and her sister, Denise Cournoyer. Diane leaves behind her loving wife and best friend of ten years, Denise Jasman; stepdaughters Sarah Lynn and Amy Marie Heidel; her three grandsons Riley, Christian, and Alexander; her sister and brother-in-law, Doreen and Paul DiTommaso; brother, Dennis DeLisle; her niece, Jaimie LaChapelle; nephews, Corey LaChapelle, Jeremie Turcotte and Dylan Jurgens; and her great-nephew, Alexander. Diane also leaves behind her beloved animals, Waldo, Olivia, Angel, and Junior. Friends and family are invited to gather in remembrance of Diane's life Thursday June 5th from 4:00 - 6:00 at the Farrell Funeral Home 110 Franklin Square New Britain, CT.
