Obituary of Cynthia L. Fortin

Please share a memory of Cynthia to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
On the day of Saturday, February 8, 2014, our family lost one of its brightest, most individual shining lights, Cynthia A. Legnani Fortin. She was the loving wife of David Fortin and the devoted daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Legnani. She is survived by the above as well as her sons Derrick Durity, Joseph Fortin, her daughter Kimberly Fortin, her sister Debbie Melchiore and her husband Frank and her Godson Brandon, brothers William Jackson and Perry Legnani, as well as several caring, loving nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles and many friends. She has been preceded by her older sister Brenda Legnani, into who's embracing arms she is now in. Cindy, you will always be remembered as a girl who filled our lives with constant laughs and smiles. Memories of you will last for miles. You will always be in our hearts and we will think of you everyday. Cindy, you are safe and at peace now in God's hands in everyway. Cindy, we wish you farewell as you ride off into the sunset. Funeral services will be held Thursday, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM at St. Joseph's Church 195 So. Main St. New Britain. Burial will follow in St. Mary Cemetery, New Britain. Any donations may be made to Joseph Fortin 1017 Hickory Hill Road Thomaston, CT 06787.
