Mark M. McCrann, 54, of Southington, passed away Wednesday night in Charlestown RI. Born in New Britain, the son of the late Robert F. and Eleanor (Kane) McCrann, he was a resident of Southington for the last 28 years. He was a Captain with the New Britain Fire Department. Mark enjoyed spending his free time at his home in Charlestown, RI with his wife and family. He was also an avid fisherman. Mark is survived by his wife Debra (Rioux) McCrann; his daughter Colleen and her husband Kyle Moros of Berlin; his son Mark McCrann, Jr. of Southington; his brothers William McCrann of Southington, and Robert and his wife Nancy McCrann of Berlin and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother Arnold Suess. Friends and family are invited to a service Tuesday at 10:00 AM at St. Maurice Church 100 Wightman Road, New Britain. Burial will follow in St. Mary Cemetery, New Britain. Visitation will be Monday from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at Farrell Funeral Home 110 Franklin Square, New Britain. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Wounded Warriors Project P.O. Box 758517 Topeka, Kansas 66675.
