Jacqueline G. (Laprise) Dionne, 92, of New Britain, died Wednesday (June 19, 2013) at the Hospital of Central Connecticut. Born in Brunswick, Maine, the daughter of the late Adelard and Delia (St.Pierre) Laprise she lived in New Britain most of her life. She was the widow of Pierre "Pete" Dionne. She attended local schools, graduating from New Britain High School and the Connecticut Institute of Hairdressing. She was employed for many years at Fafnir Bearing Company, retiring in in May 1982. A longtime member of St. Peter Church, she was also a member of the Ladies Guild of the Church, St. Agnes Guild and the Catholic Council of Women. Mrs. Dionne is survived by three daughters Eileen M. Beauchene and her husband John of Opelikla, Ala., Janice L. Ross and her husband Richard of Olive Branch, MI, and Jacqueline M. Bezrutczyk and her husband Thomas of Meriden; a son John P. Dionne of Seymour; nine grandchildren ten great grandchildren; a sister Lorraine Kendall of West Hartford and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a grandson Evan Bezrutczyk. She will be truly missed by all who knew her. Funeral services will be held Monday 9:00 A.M. from the Farrell Funeral Home 110 Franklin Sq. New Britain, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 A.M. at St. Peter Church. Burial will follow in St. Mary Cemetery, New Britain. Visitation will be Sunday from 4:00 to 7:00 P.M. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Peter Church 98 Franklin Sq. New Britain, CT 06051.
