Jerome (Jerry) Z. Chakulski, of Higganum, died Monday (Jan 30, 2023) at Middlesex Hospital after a short illness. He is survived by his wife, Betty Jean and his son and daughter-in-law, Brian Joseph and Meghan Sullivan Chakulski. He was predeceased by his parents, Zigmund and Mae Joyce Chakulski and his sister and brother-in-law, Joan and Edward Shea.
He was born and raised in New Britain. Prior to his retirement he had been employed by The Fafnir Bearing Company as an electrical engineer and Spring & Buckley as an electrical sales consultant. He will be greatly missed for his support and strength for his family. We love and miss you.
Funeral services will be private. Interment will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery, New Britain.
