Sending prayers and peace to Kathy, Patrick, Shawn and the entire family at this time. A kind and gentle man as well as a devoted husband, father and grandfather. He so loved the outdoors, may his spirit soar! May his family continue to feel his love and heal as he would want. Until then, may the Lord hold them in the palm of His hand. God Bless, Bette & Terry Lomme

Dear Gregory,
I am writing this letter to posthumously share with you, as you look down upon us, some of the cherished memories we had together.
I will always remember the fun we had as children when our family would visit yours at 15 Hurlburt Street and later on 80 Smalley Street. Our parents and other relatives would generate the fun and laughter and we would key off those happy times. In more recent times, we continued the tradition of creating happy, fun-loving times, whether it be at the American Legion fundraiser dances, our get togethers at the Blue Oar with cousins Lil and Bob, the annual Ouellette cousins picnic at Peoples State Forest that you, Kathy and Diane organized and, let us not forget, your fabulous 50th wedding anniversary celebration that Shawn and Liz planned. We will always treasure these precious memories.
Say hello to Aunt Dola, Uncle Gil, Danny and my Mom and Dad.
Until we meet again, "May the Peace of our Lord be forever with you".
Love, Cousins Lenny and Charlotte

Dearest Kathy :
Really don’t know where to begin in noting what to say about Greg.
Knowing him from the time I worked with you to when you both retired has truly been a journey.
From when you both lived on Fairview St. & Greg would be riding to work on his motorcycle, to moving into your beautiful home in Moodus. Helping you both move there and doing some work, as well as visiting when the boys were born.
Greg was excellent in renovating your home and to us was a master tradesman in his craft.
My funniest memory was when you had your old wood combination burning furnace.
Greg thought he could roast his Idaho Potatoes in the furnace. Meanwhile, you were smart in cooking yours the conventional way to have with your dinner.
Lo & behold…..Greg’s were burnt to a crisp! Don’t remember if you shared your perfectly cooked ones with him or told him “ lesson learned”.
To this day, that story puts a smile on my face & gives me a chuckle. He was certainly not afraid to try different kinds of things.
The last time Mark & I “ popped by” for a visit he was doing yard work while you were with the twins.
He was thrilled to greet us with hugs & that beautiful smile of his. Telling us ( catching up to date about family happenings) how proud he was of Patrick & Shawn & their accomplishments.
Kathy, you were thrilled in helping with the twins & keeping busy as usual….wonderful wife & mother & now Grandmother.
We will cherish the times we spent with him.
Your beautiful family will certainly give you the strength you need in the days to follow.
Our love & blessings to you and the family.
Nancy & Mark Rashaw

From our early grammar school days together at St. Mary through to seeing him joyfully hold his grandsons at his 50th Wedding Celebration in October, I always admired my cousin Greg—A good man! Our hearts are with Kathy, Patrick, Shawn and family, and Leon and family. God Bless You!

Greg; we will always remember you for the nice; quiet and very respectful cousin that you were. We did share a few occasions together; i.e. 1983 on a trip to Northern Maine for Memere's funeral; the time we met at the Long Lake in St. David...the times as a child you and family would come to Maine to visit your Memere and spend time at a cottage on the lake.. Our condolences to you Kathy; Patrick and Shawn and those little grandsons..Also for your brother Leon and family. May you rest in peace as it looks like your work is done. Prayers will be our gift for you on your journey. Say hello to the whole family up there when you meet them.
