Obituary of Jeffrey J. Deprey

Jeffrey J. Deprey, 63, formerly of New Britain, died Monday (Jan. 31, 2022) in Pocomo Lake, PA. Born in Ft. Kent Maine, the son of the late Maurice and Florence (Bouchard) Deprey, he lived most of his life in New Britain, moving to Pocono Lake, PA ten years ago. He was employed by the Constructive Workshop in New Britain for many years and was active in the Special Olympics. Jeffrey is survived by a brother Rickey and his wife Sophie Deprey of Suffield, 4 sisters, Ulinda and her husband Richard Bonsey of Pocono, Lake, PA, Shawney Kurpaska of Bristol, Sherrie and her husband Claude Gregorie of Spring Hill, FL, and Carol and her husband Larry Jones of Southington and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by two brothers Alton and Carlton. Funeral services will be held Monday (Feb. 7, 2022) at 4:00 PM at the Farrell Funeral Home 110 Franklin Sq. Burial will be private. Visitation will be Monday from 2:00 to 4:00 PM at the funeral home.
