Growing up on Oak St. would not have been the same (or as great) without Auntie Marie. She was an integral part of my early years and is there in so many of my happy memories of those days. She had grace, style and wit like no else. For those of us who loved her, she's simply unforgettable. To Allegra and Cathy, take comfort in knowing that your Mom is at peace, and is once again happily by your Dad's side. You have my deepest and most heartfelt sympathy.

I remember Marie as one of the most dignified and sweetest woman I ever met. Meeting her and Duke in the 1970's through our flower show, Palmieri Florist, they were the cream of the crop in florists. Hard working and generous were their hallmark. Their contribution to the floral industry in Connecticut was great. I will always remember them fondly.
