Obituary of Robert Pegolo

Robert Pegolo, 92, of New Britain, died Wednesday (April 14, 2021) at home. Born in New Britain and a lifelong resident, he was a U.S. Air Force Veteran, having served during the Korean Conflict. He was employed at Tilcon Tomasso for over 38 years and was a member of St. Maurice Church. Bob is survived by his wife Elaine (Fumiatti) Pegolo, their son Steven and his wife Sheila Pegolo; three grandchildren Jennifer Gallup and her husband, Mark, Matthew Pegolo, and Molly Avocato and her husband Kevin; five great grand children Fisher, McCoy and Jane Gallup, Elizabeth and Sadie Avocato; and two sisters-in-law Betty Ann Fumiatti and Vivien Pegolo and several nieces and nephews. Friends and family are invited to a Mass of Christian Burial Wednesday (April 21, 2021) at 10:00 AM at St. Katherine Drexel Parish (St. Maurice Church) 100 Wightman Road New Britain.
