Mrs. Slater and my mom were very good friends, walked, played golf, enjoyed lunch. Shuttle Meadow back then was a great place to grow up as kids, I-Kerry Ingerson- was a friend with the family and enjoyed being together. she missed my mom when she passed in 2014- and they both are playing golf now with no-handicaps. I pray Jon and Greg live long and be well knowing that life will go on for all of us. If I can ever help you 2 please let me know, please. I'm just around the corner. life long friend Kerry Ingerson

Dear Family of Mrs. Slater, Reading the life of your Mom, although I never had the pleasure of meeting her, she certainly lived a beautiful and adventurous life. I new your Dad, he was my Doctor, as well as my Mom’s Doctor and my son’s doctor. I was only 14 when he removed one of my kidneys. As scary as that was, he was so compassionate and a joy to be around. He took great care of me and I am now 71! I remember sitting in his office and I knew by all of the family photos that he was a true family man. Your family was fortunate to have the parents that you did and I hope that their memory will help you all through this difficult time. Paula (Smith) Plocharczyk
