I met Joe through his daughter Chris (who is married to my friend Erik). He was a funny guy. Always had a joke to tell which would land up the two of us telling jokes to each other. A truly great person. Heaven just got a lot brighter. Rest in Peace, Joe. You have strong condolences from the D'Apice family...

I am so sorry to learn of Joe Crowley's passing. Joe and I worked closely during my time at WTIC/WFSB TV. We partnered in the daily broadcast of the 6PM newscast, he as the producer and I as the director. He was an absolute professional and a dear friend. My sincere condolences to his family. Dear Liz, Please accept our condolences on the death of Jay (as we knew him). He was a prince and much loved. I remember when my dad was at the end of his life, the visits by you and Jay lifted Bob's spirits and always gave him a laugh. I know that Bob was there to embrace Jay in a big hug and the cousins picked up where they left off. All of the Murphys are thinking of you during these difficult days.
