Obituary of Dorothy D. Berk

Dorothy D. (Fioravanti) Berk, 93, of New Britain, died Tuesday (May 5, 2020) at the Jefferson House in Newington. Born in New Britain, the daughter of the late Henry and Lucy (DeLotti) Fioravanti, she was a lifelong resident. She was the wife of the late Edward J. Berk. A long time employee of Guida’s Dairy, she was also a member of St. Joseph’s Church. Mrs. Berk is survived by two sons Barry and his wife Cheryl Berk of Newington, Robert and his wife Lisa Berk of Port St. Lucie, FL; two grandchildren Brittany Berk and Taylor Berk; a brother Henry Fioravanti of Lake Worth, FL, a sister Marie and her husband Frank DiMugno of Kensington; and several nieces and nephews . She was predeceased by a brother, Anthony Fioravanti. Funeral services will be private with burial in Sacred Heart Cemetery with her husband Edward.
